Modules

File Generator

The File Generator is a unique disk tool that can generate up to 2.1 billion files.

You can set the following parameters:

• How many files to generate
• Size of each file generated
• Content of each file (random bytes, user defined text, byte)
• The file name pattern (user defined, incremental, random)

It can be used for miscellaneous engineering purposes such as disk performance testing, server performance testing, network performance testing, programming, etc.

Disk Drive Data Wipe (Freeware)

Have you ever wanted to delete files and sensitive documents securely so they cannot be recovered by data recovery (like Undelete or Forensic) software? If so, a free space wipe by Data Wipe is the answer.

Why simply deleting a file is not enough?

Deleting a file can be a lengthy process. This is why Windows operating system does not really delete the file. Instead of filling the content of the file with garbage data so it cannot be recovered, it merely changes the first character in the name of the file to the '?' sign. When you open the Windows Explorer it reads the content of the disk and whenever it encounters a file whose name starts with '?' it ignores the file. But the file it is still there. This is why data recovery software has virtually no problems to recover your file. With Disk Drive Data Wipe you can cover your tracks by securely deleting files. It fills the "free" space on any disk partition with garbage data so the deleted files can never be recovered.

Disk Drive Speed (Freeware)

Disk Drive Speed diagnose disk drive issues by checking the read/write speed and search speed of your disk drives. Disk Speed is freeware.

Note: you may want to defragment your hard drive before checking its speed.

Free Disk Space (Freeware)

The Free Disk Space tool shows the free space on all drives/partitions.

Merge Files

Merge all files in a folder in one single file. You can specify ANY file type. You can separate the content of the merged files with a custom defined text.
