Program description

With One million Clicks you can refresh/reload your web page, web script, image, ad, commercial or banner, millions of times per day.

What is it good for?

With One Million Clicks you can stress your web site by generating fake traffic by reloading the specified web page(s) repeatedly. All scripts, ads, banners, images, counters, etc, contained by that web page will be also refreshed. Be careful Google Ads or ads of other advertisement networks similar to Google AdSense will be also refresh. Google AdSense do not agree with that so you are not allowed to refresh pages containing ads that are not yours.

It can have many purposes like:

 - increasing the counter of a web page in order to keep your stuff (web site/software/movie) in top of the others

 - cheating a "top 10"-like popularity web site in order to keep your web site/software/movie in top of the others

'Speed Light' versus 'Web page refresh'

There are two programs included in the One Million Clicks package:

Speed Light

Web page refresh

      You may wonder why there are two application s in this package? The answer is SPEED. For speed reasons we break the initial monolithic applications in two pieces: Speed Light and Web page refresh.

     The difference between Speed Light and Web page refresh is that Speed Light only retrieve a HTML page from the specified web site. It can download also any kind of file: a picture, a ZIP, movie, audio or a script file... No scripts are interpreted and because of this, Speed Light is really really fast.

     On the other hand Web page refresh is a full browser. Any Java, JavaScript, ads/banners or PHP script nested in the specified page will be interpreted. Because Web page refresh must download the web page but also to render it and interpret the embedded scripts, it is slower than Speed Light and may require more bandwidth.

Which one you should use?

If you want to increment a counter that is incremented/triggered by a simple download of a web page, then you should use Speed Light. If you want to refresh a web page containing ads, or you want to increment a counter that is incremented/triggered by a script embedded in that web page, then you should use Web Page Refresh.
